Skill Development and Upliftment of Marginalized Groups

Empowerment begins with opportunity — and at Bhartiya Jan Kalyan Seva Samiti, we are dedicated to creating those opportunities through targeted skill development programs for underprivileged and marginalized communities. We believe that no individual should be left behind due to lack of access, awareness, or education.

Our mission is to equip youth, women, and vulnerable populations with practical, job-oriented skills that enable them to lead self-reliant and dignified lives. In many rural and urban slum areas, we’ve observed that lack of training and guidance results in economic stagnation. To address this, we offer:

• Vocational training courses in tailoring, beautician work, basic computing, electrical repair, and handicrafts
• Soft skills training including communication, personal hygiene, customer service, and interview readiness
• Entrepreneurship development workshops for small-scale businesses, SHG (Self Help Group) support, and marketing guidance
• Mentorship and career counseling sessions to help participants identify their strengths and career paths

We collaborate with certified trainers, industry professionals, and local authorities to ensure that our training modules are relevant, certified, and impactful. Our focus is on sustainable income generation and employment readiness, especially among women, differently-abled individuals, and the economically backward.

In addition to technical training, we emphasize life skills and community engagement, nurturing leadership qualities and social responsibility among participants. By doing so, we not only empower individuals but uplift entire families and communities.

Our trust is also actively engaged in connecting trained individuals with potential employers, job fairs, and startup support to ensure smooth transitions from training to employment or self-employment.
